's another wonderful OC So the last upload was full of orange, this one is full of pink!!
This is pretty much the first time I've actually painted backgrounds (cropped some of it out haha ; 7
I was having a hard time deciding the composition and I think it looks fine now...
Feb 8th: Ahh thank you so much for the feature, I'm really really happy ;m; and thank you everyone for such sweet messages too! I am unable to reply at the moment because live has been really busy and it's difficult for me to compose any sentence u_u;; Just, Thank you so much! I can't thank you enough
Haha, wow. I really love the smudged-yet-smooth brush strokes here. It makes the colors blend so well~
The various shades of pink are also eye-candy. Especially the more saturated parts on her outfit/accessories. They stand out against the dominant duller/whiter shades, but still go well perfectly.
Thank you so much!!! I'm so glad that you can see so many details I put in this picture ;u; I'll take notes of your comments!! I still don't really know how I got that rough but smooth effect, I didn't know I did that with my paintings until someone pointed that out ehehe
Hahahaha, you're welcome! I guess I really like picking out details on artworks I adore, ehehehe ;u;
What program do you use for coloring? I'd really like to know how you got your painting-ish style of blending/ coloring, it's really delicious, eheheheheheehe
Oh my, I do that with artworks I love too!! I always use Paint Tool SAI!! The brush texture on SAI is really really great, everything feels so natural!! *^* (I tried to paint with photoshop several times before but the brushes just wont listen to me ;u; they're pretty stiff for me or maybe I'm using the wrong settings _(:3, L)_ )
Haha, it's fun, right? Listing every single thing that makes you love an artwork~
Ah, sweet then! I use SAI as well, even with a mouse it feels so... smooth and natural. Like a real brush, you know? ;u;
Hehe, I don't paint with Photoshop, I usually just do the base coloring and slap on some multiply layers that can pass off as shading. It's stiff, and probably impossible for blending, but it's quite versatile as well~ just not really my style, haha
